Lençóis
With its colonial architecture –
a legacy of the times when diamonds
were the source of wealth –
preserved as historical heritage since
1973, the town of Lençóis
is an attraction in itself.

Mucugê
Located 150 km
from Lençóis, the town
recently opened a beautiful square,
called Praça dos Garimpeiros,
in a festival paying homage to the
original prospectors, whose story
is intertwined with the local architecture
itself. The Sempre Viva Project, the
Bizantine Cemetery and the waterfalls
of Tiburtino and Andorinhas are some
of the beautiful sights that nature
has bequeathed this lovely, peaceful
town.
